Today, on July 2nd 2010 opens the C.A.R. art fair, organised every year since 2006, and will last the whole week-end. This event, naming itself innovative, fair and progressive, will be take place in two phases: this time, so during the summer fair, the accent is placed on the genre of video and photo, whereas during the autumn fair, more traditional genres will be highlighted. For this occasion Várfok Gallery has chosen from its branch gallery, Spiritusz Gallery three photographers and one intermedia artist. In Essen, Viola Fátyol, Enikő Hangay and Szilvi Tóth's works will be presented at the booth, while the video work af Katalin Tesch is part of the Video Lounge's program. Apart from the special conception of the fair, its peculiarity is that Essen is Cultural Capital of Europe this year together with Pécs, this way Hungarian galleries will get more attention during the event. The fair will be open between July 2-4 2010 in Essen, Germany.
